As we continue to build our farm network, we strive to collaborate with farms prioritizing growing practices focused on rehabilitation, conservation of native species, and transparency — Regenerative, Biodynamic, and beyond Organic principles that improve soil and water health and promote biodiversity. Each Farm Box purchase directly supports this network of farmers, earth-tenders, and producers. Flamingo Estate horticulturist Jeff Hutchison and Catherine Welch, of Windrose Farm, have teamed up to source the best ingredients from a diverse group of small, family-run farms to help nurture a network of thoughtful growers who help heal the planet with every harvest.

Alison Roman is a New York–based cook, writer, and best-selling author whose work celebrates bold, joyful cooking. Known for her hit cookbooks Something from Nothing, Sweet Enough, Nothing Fancy, and Dining In, she also reaches millions through her popular newsletter “A Newsletter,” her YouTube series Home Movies, and her podcast Solicited Advice.
In 2023, Alison opened First Bloom in the Western Catskills — a small grocery filled with local produce, thoughtful pantry staples, and her famously addictive granola. Her approach is guided by a simple belief: food should be inviting, personal, and full of character.
