Hi. Big fan and a customer whenever I can be.
Bought a gift via your site and requested same-day delivery in LA (such a great service) including a note with the gift.
Communication about delivery was excellent. I was alerted at each crucial milestone. And it arrived same day as promised.
The product itself was also excellent. The recipient reported that it was all very high quality and much enjoyed.
The big problem was the note to be included with the package.
First, the field for entering the text does not allow any special characters. Apostrophes (for things like "I'm" and "you're") are not permitted, so the message is forced to be rather formal. Same for hyphens, so no hyphenate names can be used. Sorry, Mary-Ellen and Dr. Smith-Lipschitz.
Second, the message was not delivered with the gift.
It was a group gift for our boss and beacuse I ordered it and my name was on the package, she thought it was from me only. Weeks later...just beacuse of some side comment...I realized the note was not included. This was very embarrassing for her because she had not thanked the others and embarrassing for me since my colleagues thought I was bogarting the boss's favor.
Also, a lot of thought went into crafting the note and its message was important (she was very ill at the time).
I could not for the life of me find a phone number to call. I worried in advance that the note would not be included and wanted to alert you how important it was.
