Prinsesstårta Fragrance Oil

This is truly one of the best scents I’ve ever smelled in my life. It makes me look forward to getting my day started and reapplying it actually makes my day more tolerable and enjoyable. I’m honestly shocked by how much I love it and how much it makes getting through the day easier as a grad student with a lot lot lot on my plate. It’s a delightful smell. It lasts. It’s the kind of scent that you can wear daily without worrying about it bothering anyone. Every penny spent on this was worth it and I will legitimately continue purchasing this as long as it’s available.

I’m not really a gourmand person, but all the reviews of this made me try it. It’s not a bakery scent at all, but it’s still sweet in its way. Truly stunning and lasts for a pretty long time on me. The incense smell comes across a lot on my skin, but that makes it a really amazing winter to spring scent in my opinion.

My deep love for this scent cannot be understated. I am burning Prinsesstarta candles constantly. When I saw that Flamingo Estates had released a fragrance oil, I ordered it immediately. It arrived within two days and it’s my go-to purse scent. A little goes a long way - it’s concentrated and smells exactly like the candle. But when applied to skin, it turns into an even better version of the scent. Ready for them to launch a spray perfume! More please!

Prinsesstårta is a delightfully spicy semi-gourmand based on the iconic Swedish cake. Rather than being a bakery scent, it is a creamy and warm vanillic/spice profile with heliotope standing in for almond. Although based on the cake, it isn’t a bakery scent. In fact, it leans somewhat in the direction of a chypre with its oakmoss base. A touch of incense further contributes moving it away from a true gourmand. Prinsesstårta Is simple exquisite and is unlike any other perfume in my collection with its duality of nature. Five stars!
