For the past five years, we’ve quietly supported dozens of causes close to our hearts — from Jane Goodall’s foundation to animal rescue centers, the National Forest Foundation, and schools that give children from rural farming communities the chance to learn and grow. We have campaigned to ban Glyphosate and championed those working to feed and house those in our community who need a helping hand.
Until now, these donations have been personal and discretionary —made in the moment, guided by instinct and care. This season, we’ve decided to make those efforts official by creating The Flamingo Estate Fund — a way to give with more intention, structure, and impact.
The Fund will focus on the two causes we love most: the environment and the animals who call it home. As our business continues to grow, a percentage of our profits will flow into this Fund, ensuring that our success directly supports the planet that sustains it.
To begin, I’ve contributed some of my own personal savings to help launch these efforts — funds that will go entirely to organizations in Los Angeles caring for animals and restoring their habitats, starting with The Lange Foundation and Farm Animal Refuge. With more to come.
If you’d like to contribute or join our efforts, please follow the link below. I am always here for any questions or ideas: richard@flamingoestate.com.
