A beautifully constructed vintage console from the 1970s, built around a substantial solid hardwood case and completely clad in warm bamboo veneer. The bamboo is laid diagonally across the surface to create a graphic chevron pattern, with subtle variations in the natural cane giving the otherwise architectural form a wonderful amount of movement.
The substantial rectangular body sits atop a brass base, giving the natural material a slightly more polished edge. Particularly nice is that the console is completely finished on all sides, allowing it to sit away from a wall and be used almost like a piece of freestanding architecture.
