Honey, I’m home!

As many of you might know, Honey is home for me. My parents have had a Honey business for years in Australia, and Bees were the very first thing to move into Flamingo. It was one of the very first products I insisted on getting perfectly right. We put the hives on the “Native Slope” in the orchard, named for all the native Californian plants growing there. This gives the Honey a beautiful color and complex floral taste.

As a special surprise — we gave it a kick. Each jar is infused with Guajillo Chile Powder from the incredible women-owned Boonville Barn Collective up in Northern California. The flavor builds slowly through a careful, handmade process — giving the Honey a deeply fruity, mild heat that awakens anything it touches: from cheese boards to roasted vegetables, cocktails to desserts.
