A rare Italian coffee service designed by Ettore Sottsass for Lagostina’s Accademia collection in the 1980s.
The set brings Sottsass’s unmistakable Postmodern language to an everyday ritual: strong geometric forms, mint-green surfaces, and contrasting dark gray handles. It comprises a stovetop espresso maker, milk pitcher, sugar bowl, and matching serving tray, and is particularly unusual to find together as a complete group.
Designed in Italy by one of the defining figures of Memphis Milano, the pieces bear the Lagostina mark to the underside and remain in good vintage condition, with wear consistent with age and use.
