SUNFLOWERS FOR UKRAINE

Sunflowers are the official flower of Ukraine and have grown to become a symbol of resistance to the Russian invasion. This Spring, we’ve partnered with La Tourangelle to harvest and bottle a regenerative Sunflower Seed Oil, with 100% of the purchase price going to the Sunflower of Peace Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization committed to helping Ukrainian families affected by the Russian military invasion. What’s more: Flamingo will match the donation.

La Tourangelle is 100% family-owned and makes the best Sunflower Oil in America. We have been huge fans of their work, and we are excited to collaborate on this incredible oil. The family operates both a solar-powered oil mill and bottling facility, so everything is powered by the Californian sun. Their sunflower seeds were grown in Meridian, California, near the Sacramento River and just north of us at the base of the Sutter Buttes mountain. The farm is Organic Regenerative, meeting the highest standards in the world for soil health, animal welfare, and farmworker fairness.

Each bottle is 16.9oz (500ml) and will retail for $35. This means that every bottle sold will donate $70 to Sunflower of Peace.

Beautifully Smooth Organic Oil

This organic oil is so silky and smooth in the way it pours to the way it tastes. It is a beautiful oil that a little goes a very long way.

I couldn't NOT buy this sunflower oil! It's a gorgeous addition to dressings, sauces and smoothies as well as cooking with it. I drizzle it on everything with pride.

Seeds for peace

I like that all of your products are made from your crops on your estate. One rarely sees sunflower oil and this was special because all proceeds went to the Lithuanian Peace movement. It made great Mother’s Day gifts .
