Wasabi Braised Cabbage

Ingredients
Flamingo Estate Extra Virgin Olive Oil2 tbsp
Caraflex Cabbage1, halved
Butterunsalted, 2 tbsp
Fresh Wasabi Mustard2 tbsp
Red Onion1, julienned
Water3 tbsp
Kosher Saltto taste
Steps
  1. Heat a heavy bottomed pan over medium-high heat for 2-3 minutes. Add olive oil and sear cabbage cut side down for 2-3 minutes (until it has a nice golden sear). Flip the cabbage. Add butter, mustard, onions, 3 Tbsp of water, and salt to taste in the pan. Turn heat down to medium-low. Cover pan with a lid and cook for 2 min until onions are translucent. Serve cabbage hot or at room temperature.
