Serves 4-6

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cup semolina
  • 1 1/2 cup warm water
  • 1 1/4 cup almond milk
  • 1 tbsp beet powder
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tsp dry active yeast
  • 1 tsp almond extract
  • 3/4 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • ORANGE BLOSSOM HONEY
  • 1/3 cups raw Flamingo Estate honey
  • 1 1/2 tsp orange blossom water melted butter and crushed pistachios, to serve

Steps

  • In a blender, combine all pancake ingredients and blend on high for 1 minute. Let sit in a warm place for about 45 minutes. Meanwhile, stir together orange blossom honey and set aside.
  • Prepare a well oiled frying pan over medium high heat. When hot, pour the batter in from the center of the pan, letting the batter pool out.
  • Cook the pancake only on one side until the top is cooked and batter is dry, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Enjoy warm with melted butter and orange blossom honey, to serve.
