For when you can’t decide between a cold glass of rose or a tiny margarita. I’ve added one of my favorite tricks to this simple cocktail - freeze dried fruit. It adds such a fun and special touch that takes this cocktail to the next level.

  • 1 ounce tequila
  • 1 ounce lime juice
  • 4 ounces Pink Moon
  • 1 lime wedge
  • 1 ounce simple syrup
  • Strawberry salt (see recipe below)

  • Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add tequila, lime juice and pink moon. Shake vigorously for 1 minute.
  • Rub the lime wedge around the rim of a glass and dip into the strawberry salt. Fill the glass with ice and strain the margarita into the glass.
  • 1 oz freeze dried strawberries.
  • 2 tablespoons kosher salt (I prefer Diamond brand).
  • Place the strawberries into a food processor. Pulse until a pin FE powder. Place on a small plate and mix with kosher salt. Can be stored in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
  • Enjoy!
