Ingredients
Persian Cucumbers2 small, peeled and cut into a few pieces
Tequila1/4 cup + 1 tbsp
Triple Secor orange liqueur, 1/4 cup + 1 tbsp
Lime Juice1/4 cup + 1 tbsp
Simple Syrup1 cup
Ice Cubesto serve
Persian Cucumbersextra for garnish
Kosher Saltcoarse, for rimming glass
Limescut into wedges, for rimming glass and garnishing
Steps
- Start by adding the peeled and cut cucumbers in a large blender and puree for about 45-60 seconds, until smooth and completely blended. Pour the blended cucumber juice through a fine mesh strainer and into a bowl or measuring cup to separate the pulp from the juice. Use a spoon to stir the pulp mixture around in the strainer to make sure you get as much juice as possible.
- Add the cucumber juice, tequila, triple sec and lime juice. Stir to combine and taste. If you prefer your margaritas on the sweeter side, add in some of the simple syrup to your liking. Start with a small amount and then add more as necessary.
- Run a lime wedge around the rim of the glass and dip in salt. Add in some ice cubes, garnish with cucumber slices and lime wedge, enjoy.
