Makes 8 oz

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup elderflower liqueur, like St. Germain
  • 5 fig leaves
  • 8 oz chevre log
  • 2 tsp lavender, dried
  • 2 t fresh thyme

Steps

  • Soak fig leaves in the liqueur in a covered shallow container, turning leaves occasionally, for 24 hours.
  • Roll chevre log in lavender and thyme. Slice the log into five equal coins.
  • Wrap each coin in a fig leaf and tie the wrapped parcel closed with twine. Set in the fridge to cure. After a minimum of 24-48 hours, unwrap chevre.
