Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cup oyster mushroom
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • DRY FLOUR COAT:
  • 1/2 cup potato starch
  • 1/2 cup rice flour
  • 1/2 cup quinoa crisp
  • 1 tbsp gochugaru, or red chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • oil for frying

Steps

  • Prepare a pot for frying with about 2 inches oil.
  • Whisk together dry ingredients in a shallow bowl. Pour buttermilk into a separate shallow bowl
  • Coat mushroom pieces in buttermilk, then dredge in flour mixture. Fry until crisp
