It was my dear friend David Leon who first opened my eyes to the quiet beauty and extraordinary potential of Hawai‘i. When I interviewed David last year for my book, he shared stories that have stayed with me—stories of people working gently and regeneratively with the land, helping to spark a movement around Hawaii’s farming future.
As many of you know, Hawai‘i currently imports close to 90% of its food, despite being home to some of the most fertile soil in the world. And yet, it holds within it the seeds of a remarkable transformation. The islands could very well become a model for what a truly resilient, community-driven food system might look like.
This season’s subscription box is a small tribute to some of the growers of the Hawaiian islands. It represents just a handful of the many extraordinary people doing meaningful work there, but it offers a glimpse into the richness and generosity of the land—and the care with which it is being tended.
This is the first time we’ve ever curated a box that draws entirely from farms in one region. It’s our honor to do so, and our way of expressing respect and admiration for the work being done. My heartfelt thanks go to David, whose quiet leadership continues to inspire so many of us.

I received this box as a birthday gift, and it was such a treat! I am positively OBSESSED with the lavender bee smoke candle and soap! So much so that I ordered another box to get more! My husband ended up purchasing a whole year of subscription boxes for me and I can't wait to see what comes next! These products are such a sensory delight!

Everything in this box was such a delight! The avocado honey is delicious- a rare treat and the smoked Black Sea salt adds a unique flavor to dishes. The lavender linen spray is perfect to use at bedtime.
