Traditionally, Yuzu has been used in Japanese cuisine to flavor a variety of dishes, and as a central part of a winter solstice bathing ritual. This seasonal treasure has a limited harvest in California, making it hard to find, and that much more special when you do. With its intense floral aroma, Yuzu is equal parts sweet, sour, and vibrant - with an exquisite flavor unlike any other citrus fruit. We’ve combined this vibrant citrus with our decadent honey, for a special burst of tart, flowery sweetness. Try it drizzled on fruit, in cocktails, or with a simple hot water preparation for a bright tonic.

We work directly with the best regenerative farmers in California who are fighting the good fight against climate change, while at the same time growing the most delicious fruits and vegetables we’ve ever tasted. Our Golden Yuzu is sourced from Mud Creek Ranch in Santa Paula, an organic family-run farm that has been around for nearly 40 years. They are known for their citrus, and have over 200 species, including this rare Yuzu.

Tis Marmelade

I think it’s important that future buyers know that this is not honey; it’s more of a very sweet marmalade with lots of yuzu bits in it. I don’t entirely know what I’ll use it for, but I’m thinking maybe it would do well in some salad dressing with a nice sharp vinegar or as a flavoring for a frosting in a layer of a cake.

delicious

It is very delicious honey with bits of citrus. Great addition to hot water for an instant tea or to hot tea for a citrus sweet punch. The flavors of the honey and citrus are very good together.

Shockingly good

Love many things I’ve bought from Flamingo Estates, but this takes the cake. Inspired me to write my first review. I love yuzu, so I bought on a whim — it’s so much better than I even imagined. Like the best marmalade in the world, and i don’t even like marmalade. Fantastic on toast and in cocktails.
