Our kitchen manager Blanca Carreno hails from Oaxaca and was inspired by the rainbow of colors and flavors of peppers to create this addictive set of salsas. She started with traditional Mexican recipes and put her own twist on them - using bright Bell Peppers (Pimentos) instead of Tomatoes for a uniquely fresh flavor profile. Each ingredient - Chiles, Pimentos, Garlic, and Onion is blistered on the plancha (comal) and then blended until creamy.

Salsa Verde
The bright green heat of this salsa is ideal for creating your own Green Pipian Sauce by combining it with Tomatillos, toasted Pepitas, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, and Fresh Cilantro. Blend together and cook with chicken or Squash. Or add this salsa to Avocado for a quick spicy guacamole with a splash of Lime Juice.

Salsa Roja
This red salsa is the perfect addition for steak, or use on roasted Brassicas. Dip tortillas in the salsa and pan-fry - top with a fried Egg and Avocado for a quick take on Huevos Rancheros.

Salsa Picante
The spiciest salsa in the set, there’s a hint of Wildflower Honey that creates a perfect combination of sweet heat. Ideal on salmon or fish tacos. Add more Extra Virgin Olive Oil for a quick dressing.

Amazing!!

So yummy and flavorful! This set is a tasty treat! It is delicious alone or as a marinade. Everything from the estate is always A plus! From the packaging , delivery , to the taste ! I am very happy once again!

Best Mother's Day Gift

Got this for my mom for mother's day. There's nothing she loves more than chips and salsa, except for maybe visiting me out here on the west coast. This was a great mix of the two. ♥️
