We are honored to highlight these incredible examples of community farming and stewardship of the land in our trio of jams.
We sourced organic Tamarind from Empower Farms in Florida — one of the few farms in the United States growing it. Their farm is designed to involve people of all abilities in growing organic food. They also follow permaculture practices and dedicate some of their land to reforestation with native species.
We sourced our Chilacayote from San Miguel de Peras in Oaxaca - in the mountains above Oaxaca City, where it’s been cultivated for centuries. The sweet, golden Loma Bonita Pineapple is organically grown in Oaxaca — where the fertile land is crossed by two rivers. Our Heirloom Royal Cinnamon from Burlap & Barrel comes from the mountains in central Vietnam and is harvested and sun-dried using ancient techniques to preserve the intensely sweet and spicy fragrance and flavor of the bark oils.
Our field-grown Rhubarb is from Mendoza Family Farms off of California’s fertile central coast. The fresh Yellow Ginger is organically grown on the lush North Shore of Kauai by Kolo Kai Organic Farm. A harvest of fresh Blood and Navel Oranges come to us from sustainable groves in northern San Diego from Schaner Family Farms.

I love how they taste! They are not very sweet which I love but still very tasty!
I loved the jam sesh set. Been using it to dress up cheese plates, chicken dishes, even flavoring some teas. It adds a lot of fun taste to everything!
