This absolutely divine beverage gives away its purpose in the name.
Turmeric ignites the digestive fire within, the seat of self, our solar plexus.
Ginger stimulates circulation and warms you as blood begins to make its way
deeper into the extremities. Maca, a powerful superfood adaptogen from Peru, is my personal alternative to caffeine when I just can’t seem to get going. It provides sustained energy vs. the crash that comes with caffeine and thus supports our mental health by keeping our energy levels balanced. Drink this elixir to keep you activated as the last vestiges of winter pass through.

Ingredients

  • 1” piece fresh turmeric
  • 1” piece fresh ginger
  • 2 tsps Maca powder
  • 2 cups non-dairy milk
  • 2 tbsp coconut cream
  • 1⁄2 tsp ground cinnamon

Steps

  • Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth and frothy, about 1 minute.
